Born and raised in Fair Oaks, California, Tyler E. Happe received his Juris Doctorate, with distinction, from the University of Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law. Prior to entering the study of law, Tyler attended UCLA, receiving a bachelors degree in History.
Tyler prides himself on his active roles in the community in which he was raised, his current community of Rocklin, as well as the greater Sacramento area as a whole through his participation in a non-profit with the intention of repurposing underutilized portions of the central city. In addition to his role as a California attorney and business owner, Tyler teaches Legal Process, Contracts, and Employment Law for Business as an adjunct professor in MTI College’s paralegal program.
Tyler’s experience in the real estate and construction fields, as well as his entrepreneurial outlook have provided him with a unique perspective when dealing with the common concerns that individuals and business face. Having worked for and with large corporations, small businesses, and start-up companies, he has been exposed to the everyday workings that make businesses successful. In addition, Tyler’s career path has exposed him to all aspects of real estate and construction, from development through construction, to real estate transfers and finance have provided him with the necessary acumen to effectively advise his clients through complicated legal issues.
In November, 2010, Tyler founded The Happe Law Group, APC, which, upon the addition of Tom, became HAPPE REID, PC. The firm was founded with a vision to provide exceptional legal services to investors, entrepreneurs, and individuals. The three practice areas in which the firm is actively involved (namely Real Estate, Estate Planning, and Business) all fit together in both a client’s portfolio as well as from a legal standpoint and therefore, the intent was to create a firm with whom you can address your most common legal needs.
Tyler’s practice focuses primarily on the business and real estate areas within HAPPE REID, PC. His business services range from entity creation through risk assessment and aversion and corporate finance. Tyler’s real estate services are intended to help acquire, preserve and transfer real property assets and they range from simple landlord tenant disputes to complex creative financing.
Outside of the office, and depending on the weather, Tyler spends most of his time snowboarding, golfing, or fishing.
